Frederick Goas

In the Goas surname message board at FamilyHistory.com, message #2 by Carol Van Stienburg mentions a Hanna E. Goas Haggerty, daughter of Frederick and Eleanor. She was born abt 1826 in Old Harmony, Butler, Pennsylvania. Assuming Butler County as a possible birth place, Frederick may have died here. He however was not listed in the will index, the orphan's court index, or the probate index of Butler County.

Frederick married Eleanor Huppenan, daughter of John Huppenan and Molly Smith, about 1819. (Eleanor Huppenan was born on 11 Jan 1803 in Kingston, Frontenac, Ontario, Canada ^2,4,10 and died on 3 Jun 1874 in Saint Cloud, Stearns, Minnesota ¹.)
