• Error Opening Message File. Could not lock file. (Windows Vista)
- Log on as Administrator.
- Click the Start button and go to Computer and open the C: drive.
- Next, with the right mouse button click once on the Legacy folder and select Share on the pop-up menu.
- In the File Sharing screen select Change sharing permissions and then highlight the account that is getting the error.
- Set the permission level to Contributor and then
click Share.
